Tips for Horseshoe Lake

Lines, fenders and plug: sort them out in the lot, then roll down to Horseshoe Lake ready to go.
You only need enough water to float the boat off, and the parking brake goes on every time.
When you come back to Horseshoe Lake, winch the boat on instead of power loading, which keeps the end of the ramp intact.
Power loading is banned at some Washington launches, for example in Lakewood.
